SUMMIT OVERVIEW
This summit will provide a wide range of topics of highest interest to advanced practice nurses. Topics will include clinical practice, genetics, ethics, policy updates, and trends and issues in coding and billing affecting advanced practice nurses across the nation.
The purpose of this summit is to provide:
- - a forum to dialogue about critical practice issues.
- - education to promote and support the advancement of new evidence into practice.
- - opportunities to learn practical strategies for managing clinical and workplace challenges.
- - new resources for immediate use in service improvement for patients and their families.
Summit Faculty
Carolyn D. Farrell, MS, BS, RN, WHCNP, CGC, director of Clinical Genetics Service at Roswell park Cancer Institute, faculty member at the SUNY Buffalo School of natural Sciences and the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.
Carol M. Mason, ARNP, CLS, FHA, clinical director, Division of Preventive Cardiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Ms. Mason, a board-certified lipid specialist with 22 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.
Lucy N. Marion, PhD, RN, FAAN, dean and professor, School of Nursing, Medical College of Georgia.
