Mayo Clinic is pleased to present the 2008 Orthopaedic Nursing Conference. The conference is designed to explore the continuum of care for adult and pediatric patients who have experienced orthopaedic trauma and/or tumors. A variety of topics will be highlighted, including infections, use of complementary and alternative therapies with orthopaedic patients, and wartime trauma.

The goals of the conference are to:
# Enrich nurses’ knowledge in the field of the orthopaedic tumor and spinal conditions.
# Improve patient care in the hospital and post-hospital settings following orthopaedic trauma.
